Zyda Law has been shortlisted for “the best example of a supplier going the extra mile” award at the NDA Estate Supply Chain Awards, which will be held in Manchester on Wednesday 13th November 2013.
Going the extra mile
Entries for this award had to demonstrate how they had gone that 'extra mile' to deliver a successful contract. The award requires something that was unusual, exceptional or creative, that made a difference, resulting in a benefit. It could be by providing excellent customer service – flexibility, quick response, or sheer determination and commitment to succeed in the face of adversity which is an example to others. This award will be earned by the company that shows that nothing is too much trouble.
Launched last year, the awards are jointly sponsored by the NDA and its Site Licence Companies, with the aim of acknowledging the supply chain's important role in delivering progress across the estate and providing innovation in all its forms to add benefit and efficiencies to the programmes of work.
In our submission, Zyda Law demonstrated how we “go the extra mile” by describing aspects of our long standing work at Dounreay where we have been advising for more than a decade on the planning and environmental law aspects of nuclear decommissioning.
